I am primarily a landscape painter working in watercolour, although I have found that I increasingly enjoy working in oils too. I have been inspired to paint since childhood and also spent many years teaching and coordinating art as a profession.
In 2015 I took early retirement and moved to Wales, to devote more time to my passion for landscape painting. Living on the beautiful Llyn Peninsula has provided me with an abundance of wonderful land and seascapes and I have been very happy and busy exploring and working here. I have also spent time developing my art studio, an old static caravan in the grounds of our house, with views over the neighbouring farms to the cliffs and sea.
Previously, I have exhibited my work in West Sussex, Essex, and the Channel Islands. I joined the Arlunwyr Sarn Artists in November 2016 and also belong to The Art North Wales group. I exhibit work annually in the Gwyl Gelf Llyn Arts Festival.
Many of my pictures are for sale and if you are interested in buying one, then you can do so by contacting me through my contact page. All paintings are my own original works and set in a mount board frame.
